Googles new “Now Service” will be next level for the future: Can Google relive the dominance?

Google just proclaimed its new “Now Service” at its I/O developer conference and expressed it as the next level for the future of its company. The search giant has been witnessing the fragmentation of its core product - search - due to the rising demand for mobile applications.

The users are now much more inclined towards programs that have no attachment and their demand for search options on the broad web have dropped in the passing years. Thus, Google’s position in bringing everything to a user’s fingertips through the ‘search’ across the internet seems to be at risk.

But Google might have just altered its course.

The company is at its toes in developing a new feature within its Android OS, empowering the “Now service” (a dashboard of notifications focusing on your life and interests) to plug in as a layer on the top of a running app on your phone or tablet. The home button will activate the “Now service” fixated with the app.

Subsequently, the option will let you obtain related search information, provided there is text and data that Google can draw from the app itself. This new and effective service will not require developers to make any changes to their existing software – labelled “Now” on Tap - to bring search and context into the user’s view.

The new service of Google proves to be major as it will certainly aid the company in restoring their dominating position. The web grew in no small part because of Google’s proficiency in pursuing and organizing all the dissimilar pieces of information. Now Google can do the same thing with every app running on your phone. The new “Now service” will let Google have their original share of the search game by speaking the common language of apps.

The company can relive its dominance on the search engine world if their service proves to be as impressive as Google displayed it on the stages in San Francisco. “There’s a whole new world ahead of us for our devices. One that’s more connected than ever,” Google authority says.
