Jil Bauer and Ronna Gradus directed this documentary and Rashida Jones was the producer. The documentary took eight months to build up to overlook the trip by several girls. Their primary research included an amateur porn artist to know more about her choice of work. Their findings included how the introductory expectation varies from the sequential realities. The documentary highlighted that a major portion of the population visit porn sites rather than scrolling the social networking sites like twitter and online based shopping sites. The porn industry is persistent for looking out for new talents in order to meet customer demands.
There is a major development in amateur porn production because instruments to build media service and advertise directly to the viewer is less hectic. The dream life attracts girls and acts as a decoy. Co-director Gradus said, especially girls of 18 or 19 years does not think of the bigger picture as they are being trapped. They should do their homework before choosing this as a profession. They are thinking of the short term (current time) monetary value. That they should think of the bigger picture (net profit) and their future. She highlighted this one fact that they are not going to come back home with tons of cash.
