Apple’s most anticipated product made its way out in the market, and soon suffered some negative remarks from the customers who have already received their order and using it. Apple made their first device which is wearable and named Apple watch, the watch started getting negative remarks from the customers because the materials used in making of straps and bands of Apple watch causes irritation.

People who wore the Apple watch for long time complained about the scratch marks caused by the band of Apple watch. There were several posts on the internet showing images of people having allergy on their hands caused by wearing Apple watch for a longer period of time.

Apple being a large name in the industry responded back very soon, the response from Apple stated that the watch has been tested several times before being made available to the users. The Apple watch was sent to the higher level dermatologists recommended by the board, all the sources gave positive reviews about the watch. For the ease of customers Apple created a whole support page which answers questions regarding the issues of Apple watch. Adding up further to the solution, spokesperson suggested the users to wear the watch correctly; not too loose or not too tight. The users who have scratch complaints may have worn the watch too tightly or strap it too loose.

Apple stated on their page that, “A small number of people will experience reactions to certain materials. This can be due to allergies, environmental factors, extended exposure to irritants like soap or sweat, and other causes.”Further stated, “Apple has advised these users to stay away from the Watch if they come across any problems or simply, consult a physician before wearing the Apple Watch again.”

You are likely to have the scratch and allergy because the material used in Apple watch is nickel and you might be allergic to it. The stainless steel portion, the magnets present in strap and bands of Apple watch may be causing this allergy on your hand.

“Apple Watch strives for high fashion, but it still looks like a techie watch. With that said, I’ve worn my fair share of smartwatches and none are as good-looking as Apple Watch,” Re/code’s Lauren Goode writes.
