 Armed man breaches White House – 400 rounds of ammunition, machete, hatchet confiscated from vehicleThis Friday, an Army veteran Omar Gonzalez, 43, has jumped the White House fence while carrying knife, hastened into the manor being getting caught, has taken a plea deal.

He has been pleaded guilty for two federal charges sentenced between 12 and 18 months in prison.

This incident took place on September 19th where Gonzalez made his way to the East Room of the White House paving the way to disclosing other Secret Service security breaches for President Barack Obama and eventually led to the resignation of Julia Pierson as the director of the agency.

The President, the first lady and their daughters were not at home during the invasion.

After the arrest, 400 rounds of ammunition, a machete and 2 hatchets were confiscated from Gonzalez’s car. He was in possession of a folding knife with a 3 ½ inches long blade.

Gonzalez, who formerly resided in Copperas Cove, Texas told the Secret Service following his arrest that that he was concerned the atmosphere was collapsing and needed to get the information to the president of the United States so that he could get the word out to the people,” according to the court’s document.

Judge Rosemary M. Collyer reviewed the facts that Gonzalez agreed to the accusations as a part of this plea, on the facts which describes his path into the White House. He went over a fence, through some bushes, around an SUV, went up the steps and through the doors to the North Portico when officers yelled at him to stop. Gonzalez yelled back, “Let me in” as he went past the doors, as described in the court documents.

Gonzalez agreed that all these facts were true while attired in his orange jail suit. He pleaded to be guilty for unlawful breaking and entering a highly restricted compound while in possession of a deadly weapon and assaulting and resisting a Secret Service agent.

He is sentence is scheduled on June 8th 2015.
