Donald Trump goes on War with Forbes over his Net Worth, again

Move on, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and Fox News because Donald Trump now has somebody else to fight with. And it is none but Forbes magazine with its newly released estimate over Trump’s net worth which the magazine stated was just $4.5 billion. However, the amount seems to be less than half of Trump’s claim of over $10 billion.

In an interview at the Trump Grill, a restaurant situated on the lower level of Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, Trump stated that he is a private company. “I really like the people at Forbes,” he said. He also claimed that these people really don’t know about his assets very well.

For instance, he said, “they will not give you any value for your brand, and my brand is extremely valuable.” Just moments after his interview, he cited that he was going back to his office to mark a new branding deal which is worth “hundreds of millions of dollars.”

“I’m sure they stated that I’m very liquid,” Trump informed. But in real, Forbes labelled Trump much less liquid compared to what he claimed. His own assessment exhibited nearly $793 million in cash and cash equivalents. However, the Forbes estimation was only $327 million.

If this is correct, then the Trump worth $100 million sworn to spend in his campaign would eat up nearly one-third of his cash. Therefore, they’re wrong,” Trump stated when he was informed of Forbes’ claimed numbers. “I possess a lot of cash. I have hundreds of millions of dollars of cash,” Trump stated.

Furthermore, Trump mentioned that the media coverage he has earned so far permitted him to lead the polls while evading heavy advertising spending and preserving cash. “I’m beneath the budget and ahead of schedule, just like my projects,” he said.

When questioned about Trump’s complaint, Forbes Editor Randall Lane replied: “Our story speaks for itself.”

Trump has been ahead of his rivals in the GOP at the national polls.
