It was earlier reported that, Orexigen’s partner for North America, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, had launched Contrave in the United States on October 20, 2014. U.S. It was also reported that net sales for Takeda in the fourth quarter were $6.5 million. Orexigen will receive $1.3 million in royalties.
