A federal judge in Texas has declined to raise a temporary block on a White House immigration plan which would have protected millions of illegal immigrants from being deported, as per court documents.
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen in Brownsville, a city located along the border with Mexico, rejected a U.S. Justice Department appeal to eliminate a ban on the plan that he has issued in February.
26 U.S. states have filed a lawsuit charging that Obama had surpassed his powers with executive orders which would lead to 4.7 million illegal immigrants to live in the country without any threats of being deported. The orders given by Obama been sidestepped by Congress, which could not agree with the immigration reform.
According to the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Obama’s Administration has misled the court concerning the premature execution of expanded work permits to illegal immigrants.
A U.S. government filing had been at issue, which said that around 100,000 people had been given 3-year periods of deferred action before the judge’s injunction.
Paxton said.”Any premature implementation could have serious consequences, inflicting irreparable harm on our state, and this ruling is a key in determining the extent to which the federal government did not present the full truth in this case.”
The Justice Department could not be immediately reached for a comment, requested an emergency stay of Hanen’s decision on Feb. 23. Court documents show that it has also filed a notice of appeal to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.
On Tuesday, challenge to Obama’s 2012 executive action granting deportation relief to immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children had been rejected, perpetuating a lower court’s earlier ruling.
The other major part would extend deportation protections to parents of U.S. citizens and permanent residents who have been in the country for several years. That provision was slated to begin on May 19.

The Federal Court has determined that President Obama abused his powers. In fact this President has usurped his powers ever since he assumed his office and Congress has done nothing to stop him from destroying White America. It’s time to remove this man from his undeserved position and possibly jail him.
I agree with the federal judge, if their illegal what’s wrong with that word illegal most can’t understand? That means it’s against the law and of all the people the fearless leader should know that word he uses it alot and he does illegal things all the time why? Because he can that’s just it he can do anything that involves ruining the United States into the ground and teaching the rest of us how a black person with a grudge can shove things down our throats it being any race other than black. Congress needs to convince him to leave office before he done wrecking things more.
