WWE Extreme Rules match card preview Bryan vs Barrett, Rollins vs Orton and more

WWE Extreme Rules will broadcast live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago this Sunday night and there are some really interesting matches that people are looking forward to. The show will kick off with the Brass Ring Club vs the New Day at 7 pm ET and the main card will begin right after at 8 pm ET. The Brass Ring Club should pick up the victory.

The most hotly debated match the Rollins vs Orton steel cage match for the championship. This match may seem like it’s about Orton winning the championship but it is really about whether Kane will do his job or turn on Rollins. The gatekeeper will keep people out of the cage but he might just interfere himself. In fact, he most probably will. I don’t see Orton picking up the win though. Winner: Rollins

WWE’s other great talent, John Cena is going to be defending his title against Rusev yet again in a Russian chain match. The Bulgarian Brute definitely isn’t taking the title off Cena although he may not be pinned to lose this time. Winner: Cena

Roman Reigns, the man the WWE rode on till Wrestlemania will get another chance to showcase his strength against the Big Show. Now, Big Show has a terrible record as far as Last Man Standing matches is concerned and it doesn’t look like the WWE is thinking of giving him a push anytime soon. Reigns, on the other hand, needs another push desperately or he may just disappear between other names in the midcard. Winner: Reigns

Everyone’s favorite wrestler, Daniel Bryan’s, involvement in a match against Bad News Barrett is still suspect and could go either way. But if he doesn’t compete, he might just be stripped of the title for the second time in his career. I’m sure he wouldn’t want that but he can’t really wrestle if he isn’t at 100 % right? But if he does make it to the ring, he will most probably retain the title. Why else would he risk it? Winner: Bryan

The Divas division has not delivered a good wrestling match in a very long time and that isn’t going to change with Nikki Bella vs Naomi. Nikki will most probably pick up the victory as she is the better wrestler although I really hope that Naomi can improve a little and become a serious contender. Winner: Nikki Bella

The other two matches will be Sheamus vs Ziggler and Ambrose vs Harper. Considering Sheamus has just returned and is one of the best heels on show right now he should be able to pick up the victory while Ambrose should get one over on Harper just so the WWE can reinforce the fact that size doesn’t always guarantee a victory.
