Baby girl Lily saved from horrific car accident alongside river by heroic police officer

An astonishing video clip from a police officer’s body camera was released on Friday which demonstrated the astounding rescuing of a 19 month old baby girl called Lily a week ago in Utah.

She has undergone a crash in an automobile along with her mother where the automobile was positioned upside down for 14 hours in the Spanish Fork River. Unfortunately her mother died in the accident.

On March 7, at 12:30 pm, a Spanish Fork police officer hurried to the scene, as reported by reporter Chris Miller of CBS Salt Lake Town affiliate KUTV.

The officer rushed out of his patrol car and dashed down the steep edge to the side of the motor vehicle. He managed to go past all hurdles and got inside of the vehicle.

The officers analyzed that the only way in was to set the vehicle onto its facet. The vehicle was rolled over soon after and firefighters entered the car and struggled hard to free Lily from the car seat she was buckled on to.

The moment she was rescued, she was hand over to the next office who rushed her to an ambulance which was readily waiting at the scene by then.

Even though baby Lily was motionless during that time, rescuers were very hopeful that the little angel would make it.

Paramedics suctioned Lily’s nose when the officer executed CPR.

The ride to the nearest regional hospital took only a couple of minutes, and Lily was rushed there hastily.

She was then transported via a helicopter to Main Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake Metropolis.

Just this week, it was stated publicly that Lily is healthy and safe in her beloved father’s arms. The heroic and courageous team of police officers and paramedics are to be thanked and appreciated for their act and doing their best to save Lily’s life.
