Do you need to buy the new iPhone’s?

You have quite the decision to make as far as the new iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus is concerned. Do you buy one or should you wait for the iPhone 7? Here are some thoughts.

Bloomberg feels that the new A9 processor is the highlight of this smartphone. You can switch between apps seamlessly, games move quickly and the touch ID is super-fast.

It’s not that the iPhone 6 is slow, it’s just that the 6s is so much faster. Apple says it is just about twice as fast and it certainly feels like that while swiping, scrolling or launching apps.

Some felt, 3D touch was the best thing about this new iPhone. They say it lets you handle actionable items easily and lets you retain context while still adding things to your calendar, looking at emails or sneaking a look at links.

The Live Photos feature was another major improvement over the iPhone 6. It was enjoyable and quickly became an important part of taking photos. The images came to life when you pressed them. The photos are more real and spontaneous.

Even though the iPhone was just marginally thicker, it did have some people complaining since the battery life didn’t improve at all. They also complained about no wireless charging options or the complete ignorance of rapid charging technology.

There aren’t any features on these new iPhones that you can’t live without. The software and hardware has been tweaked, but it’s certainly not enough to warrant an upgrade.

If you own an iPhone 6, the upgrade isn’t worth it. But if you own an older model, it surely will blow your mind.
