George Zimmerman keeps tweeting in order to remain relevant

Tweeting isn’t the only thing which has helped George Zimmerman stay in the news ever since a jury acquitted him of 2nd-degree murder back in 2012. He had faced accusations from his ex-wife of domestic abuse as well as from a woman whom he was dating during 2013.

His former wife said that he had threatened her family using a gun but she chose to not press any charges.

Later in the same year, his ex-girlfriend had told the police that he pointed a gun at her & smashed a coffee table. But she recanted those accusations later on.

In 2014, he had been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly throwing a wine bottle at one girlfriend.

In August 2015, he was denounced by the Boys and Girls Club from using their name while he was hawking printouts of his Confederate battle flag painting.

He had partnered with a gun store owner in Florida to sell those prints and both parties had stated in the beginning that a part of the proceeds were going to be donated to the Boys and Girls Club. This charity responded right away saying that they were not informed of any such plan & requested that the pair immediately stop making use of their name.

The gun store which is in question had achieved notoriety previously as well when the owner said that his business was to be a “Muslim-free zone.”

Zimmerman as well as the store owner have both claimed that the enterprise they were running with the Confederate flag was not related to racism in any way.
