Hilary Rodham Clinton is moving much closer to officially announcing about her candidacy for president of the United Stated on the upcoming Sunday, as reported by Democrats who are familiar with her plans.
Her announcement is not going to be a big and splashy one, but instead will be coming via social media, including a video message. As a matter of fact, Clinton has already filmed the video that will be used to announce her candidacy. Her early state visit could be starting from next week with Iowa probably being the first stop she makes.
Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid marks to the second time she has taken part in running for becoming the first female to win the White House.
Following the defeat that she has undergone in 2008, against Barack Obama in 2008, Clinton has firmly stated that she would not be running for presidency again. But then again, ever since then her position in the world of politics has evolved.
Clinton has been prepping up for her campaign in full gear, in the recent months. She has hired a forceful team, inclusive of many of President Obama’s former advisers and strategists who are working round the clock behind the scenes.
A new lease has also been signed for a new office space for the team in Brooklyn, New York, which will be serving as her campaign headquarters.
Clinton will be making her entrance in the pursuit as the front-runner for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, and has been leading all her possible Republican Opponents in early polls.
A recent ABC News-Washington Post poll has shown that Clinton is ahead of potential Republican candidate, Jeb Bush by a 54-to-40 percent margin in a potential match-up, with even bigger leads against Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Marco Rubio.
