In her regular powerful speech, Hillary R. Clinton speaks of battling income inequality, rejoicing court rulings on gay marriage and health care facilities. Since the Emanuel AME Church massacre, she has been working hard and trying to tighten the nation’s gun laws.

For the past several decades, Democrats looking for the national office were mostly timid on the issue of guns, afraid that the laws would alienate firearms owners. During the year 2008, Barack Obama received heated reactions for his blunder about people who “cling to guns or religion.” After that he rarely mentioned guns again — neither that year nor in his 2012 reelection campaign.

At present, the political environment is under a lot of stress on gun controls due to the numerous mass shootings this year. Clinton is very determined to stake out substantial ground in her key contest against insurgent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). She has been introducing debates relating to gun control and also promised to fight the National Rifle Association.

However, Clinton’s remarks on gun control laws could fuel millions of politically active gun owners. Wayne LaPierre, the NRA’s executive vice president, argued that her action will impact her campaign in a detrimental fashion.

Ex-president Bill Clinton stated in his memoir, that his vice president, Al Gore, lost the 2000 presidential election due to the reaction in states such as Arkansas and Tennessee on Clinton administration’s 1995 prohibition on assault weapons. A lot of the Democratic lawmakers lost their elections on the strict gun-control votes.

Not only gun control measures, but Clinton’s speech also elaborate on topics she has already introduced. Some of those are providing more opportunities for the make the middle class and assure them a better life standard. She also spoke on providing the poor with a chance to work their way into it. Clinton talked about all these in her last campaign rally speech on New York’s Roosevelt Island in June.

Despite of being a beneficiary in her campaign donations in the past, Clinton concentrated on some of the fire on Wall Street, particularly when it derives to executive pay and capital gains tax rates. The nation’s top 25 hedge fund managers “make more than all of Americans’ kindergarten teachers combined and often paying a lower tax rate,” she often says on the campaign trail.

Clinton stated that her policies are aimed towards the favor of those who aren’t at the very top. She stated that wealth and affluence can’t be just for CEOs and hedge fund managers. She also proclaimed that Democracy can’t be just for billionaires and corporations. Adding to her comments, she promised that instead of stashing the profits overseas, she will rewrite the tax code so that the hard working citizens of America are well rewarded.
