  1. Chances of winning the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket? Zero! So I’m happy to take odds of 1 in several million and still believe it could be me. As the old saying goes, “You’ve got to be in it to win it.” Frankly, it’s all down to luck. Nothing else really counts. So I’ve made up a little free and just-for-fun webpage which which aims to come up with your own personal “lucky numbers”. Who knows, it could work - you just never know your luck! I don’t claim to know all the answers, but as I say, it is completely free and just a bit of fun, so look out for “VillaLibra Lucky Numbers” if you want to check for yourself.

The New York Gaming Commission, which administers the multi-state Powerball lottery, stated that Powerball ticket sales have gradually deteriorated due to lesser win in huge jackpot in over a year.”

Sales have deteriorated because these idiots decided to charge “only” $2 per ticket instead of the $1 per ticket as it previously was before the most recent change. I used to buy $10 in tickets each week ($5 per drawing w/2 drawings per week) when the price of the ticket was $1 each line. Now I wait until the pot is super large (> $250m) before I buy a single ticket.

However, when these yokels raised the price they told us how much easier it would be to bring bigger jackpots. Yea right in your dreams. And now the author of this article puts out this dribble about deterioration tied to fewer (lesser in his words) huge jackpots. Seems to me I am not the only one that has stopped, or slowed down, ticket purchases as I get twice the number of tickets for Mega then for Powerball. However that would be to simple for the government agency running the game because it makes them look like fools for raising the price in the first place. And I assume that would be to hard for the author to discern so he takes the easy route and regurgitates what the government tells him to print.
