Right from the name all the way to the premise, Hatoful Boyfriend certainly is one weird game. But this does not mean that it is any less a hit as far as gamers are concerned. It appears to be quite the hit with critics too. The game basically gives you control of a girl but instead of making you date boys, the game makes you date pigeons instead. That’s right, you are going to be in a post-apocalyptic world that is run by birds and you will be in a high school along with pigeons.
After this initial success this game had when it was previously released in September 2014, the game has now also been announced for the PS4 and Vita. The release date is the 21st of July on both consoles. And in continuation of our description of our game above, this game is about more than just being a girl getting through high school with pigeons on a post-apocalyptic world. The story is a lot deeper than that and once you’ve mastered the whole dating segment of the game and dealt with all the stalkers & rivals, you may even encounter a few doomsday devices in these new PS4 & Vita versions.
There is a brand new romance option which is also included in this upcoming version. It will occur through the introduction of Tohri, an avian character. This character is also going to be a part of the sequel to this game called Holiday Star. That title is scheduled for release later on in this year and is going to be available simultaneously on PC, PS4 & Vita.
