Matthew Brennan Cassel is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. The Buffalo Bills have announced that they have agreed a trade with the Minnesota Vikings, which will see them sign quarterback Matt Cassel.
To the report from the trader side, both trades won’t become official until the NFL’s new league year begins next Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET. Thus, there won’t be a Cassel-acquisition inquisition with Whaley or head coach Rex Ryan at least until then. The trade will become official on March 10 when the NFL’s league year begins. And the trade can’t be completed until then, but the announcement wouldn’t have been made if there were any potential roadblocks pending.

In a recent report Cassel has won 33 games in his career, and has lost 38 and Cassel played just 12 times in two seasons for the Vikings after he moved from the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013.
In his career 32-year old, Cassel spent two years with the Vikings, taking over in 2013 after Christian Ponder struggled to keep the job. Cassel’s production was up and down, with 14 touchdown passes and 14 turnovers in 12 games, but his experience was valuable while Bridgewater got his career going.
Regarding to the present statistic Cassel, entering the final year of his contract, is due to count $4.75 million against the 2015 salary cap ($4.15 million in base salary and a $500,000 roster bonus), compared to Manuel at $2.4 million and Tuel at $510,000. Kyle Orton, who retired after last offseason, will count $1.5 million in “dead cap” money. He had been scheduled to count $5.5 million against the cap before retiring.
