The “Divergent series: Insurgent” topped the Friday Box Office with $21.3 million and has been predicted to net about $57 million for the first week.

The movie also netted the gross estimation of $18.3 million internationally on Friday. It was reported that, the movie netted $2.5 million in France, $1.6 million in U.K., $1.5 million in Brazil and $1.3 million in Australia. It was also reported that, the movies is playing on over 9,500 screens on 76 markets, which is the most extensive international release of the year till now.
According to the makers of “Insurgent” the movie was produced for $110 million. The film stars Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller and Kate Winslet, and is based on the second novel in the series. On the other hand “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” which continues to impress the audience in its sixth weekend in theaters, starring Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton and Michael Caine. The movie netted $1.3 million on Friday and in total haul $115 million.
Liam Neeson’s “Run All Night” reeled in $1.4 million on Friday. Pure Flix’s faith-based feature “Do You Believe?” netted $1.3 million of Friday.
