WWE returned for Monday Night RAW on the 27th of April 2015 on the USA network live from Green Bay, Wisconsin and everyone was just dying to know what was going to happen in the aftermath of the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The show started off in the usual fashion with Seth Rollins coming to the ring with other members of the authority and bragging about himself like only he can do. Kane argued with him for a bit until Randy Orton interrupted followed by Roman Reigns both demanding title shots. Kane then made the main event with Orton and Reigns taking on Rollins and Kane. He asked the audience to vote on who would face Rollins at Payback as well.
The first match of the night was a King of the Ring Quarterfinal match between Dolph Ziggler and Bad News Barrett. Barrett was able to pick up the victory after Sheamus came out from the back and distracted Dolph.
The next match was between Tyson Kidd and Big E with Cesaro and the New Day at ringside. A decent match with a victory for Big E with the help of Xavier Woods.
Bo Dallas went one on one with Ryback after this and though he mounted what looked like a decent offense, Ryback was too much for him & he lost to a meathook clothesline followed by shell shocked. Bray Wyatt interrupted his celebration though and hit him with Sister Abigail before taunting him.
John Cena had a neat little promo like only he could where he spoke about his I Quit match and how he could never give up. Rusev then disrupted Heath Slater’s open challenge match with Cena and tells Cena that he is going to quit just like America.
R-Truth then picked up a win against Stardust in another King of the Ring Quarterfinal match with a lie detector.
Adam Rose picked up a shoddy victory against Fandango with his finisher, Party Foul and Naomi picked up a win against Brie Bella with a rollup.
The last two King of the Ring quarterfinal matches were between Sheamus and Dean Ambrose and Neville and Luke Harper. Sheamus picked up a DQ victory when Ziggler interfered in his match while Neville had to fight for his victory although finally getting there with his finisher, the Red Arrow.
Now, to the main event. There was a lot of back and forth in the matchup with a suplex by Reigns on Kane at one point as well. But Kane finally lost it after Rollins dropkicked him by mistake and threw him to the wolves. Reigns superman punched him and Orton followed it up with an RKO and the 1-2-3 for the win.
The show ended with Kane sharing the results of the poll which showed that Rollins will have to face both Orton and Reigns at Payback. Reigns then speared Rollins before pointing a finger at Orton and warning him to back off.
