All bets on Floyd Mayweather to dismantle Manny Pacquiao in the historic event on May 2nd

Manny Pacquiao will face the biggest challenge of his life when he goes toe to toe with the undisputed boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather Jr., in the richest match in boxing history.

The stakes cannot get higher than this. The best boxer in the world wants to quit after participating in the most expensive ‘fight’ which should turn out to be one of the best contests in boxing history. The undefeated 38 year old WBC and WBA champion stands to make around $ 120 million from the match proceeds alone and the actual bout has a price tag of several hundred million dollars.

The amount of money involved in this bout is stupendous and even Bob Arum, who is the current promoter of the Filipino can’t believe the amount of money the top 1 % of the world have.

“If I had said at the time, that 13, 14 years later they would be fighting each other for hundreds of millions of dollars in one of the most anticipated fights ever, people would have considered me absolutely f—— nuts. Who would have even have thought that? It shows you that anything is possible,” Arum commented.

Although Manny Pacquiao will have the upper hand in terms of strategy and agility, many believe, including former legend De La Hoya, that Mayweather will simply ‘out-think’ his opponent and go on to a convincing victory, like he has done over the past 47 matches.

Pacquiao, being a south-paw, has the advantage of coming at Mayweather from ‘odd-angles’ and the 38-year old believes that he can adjust accordingly to take the Filipino out.

“I’ve always got the remedy to solve the problem and come out on top. I don’t know if he can make adjustments. I’ve always been able to make adjustments,” was the confident response from Floyd Mayweather.

Both the fighters have lost a bit of agility and power since the last time they met and spectators believe that this should make then fight even more interesting.

Come the 2nd of May, 2015, the world stands to witness one of the greatest bouts in boxing history, where only one can come out as the victor.
