He threw for 268 yards with a 73% success rate, including 3 TD’s and 0 picks. His last couple of years as quarterback had him being reluctant to show any confidence & speak his mind.
Lake said that he was as tough as they came which is why it wasn’t good for him to be out of it.
The first points of the night for Cal came from a short 4 yard pass to Darius Power to close a 78 yard drive that lasted 8 plays and tied the game at 7 apiece.
The Bears are 3-0 for the first time in 4 years and he’s happy about it. He said that they just focused on getting better and it was the second year of this system. They also improved their defense.
