The skeletal remains of a missing woman had been found outside a wooded residence in rural Michigan on Friday, around 10 miles away from where Chelsea Bruck of 22 years of age had disappeared in October.
The identity of the body will be confirmed by the police with two days. Any other specific condition about the body has been released to the public.
The body has been discovered by a construction crew who had been uncovering the corpse that had been on a residential property close to rail tracks, while they have been moving dirt on a work site at about 2 p.m.
Police had been searching the rural Monroe County for months now ever since Bruck’s disappearance on October 26th 2014. After all this time, police have luckily come across this now.
Bruck was a beautiful blonde girl and worked as a waitress. She disappeared from an outdoor Halloween party at a rural property where she had gone dressed as the Batman villain “Poison Ivy.” More than 600 people had been present at that party. Sometime around 3 a.m. she got separated from her friends who had eventually left the premises without her. Days later, her family was bound to report her missing, as nobody has heard from her since. Her friends said that Bruck did not appear to have been drunk or drugged at the party as she happily went around chatting to people.
The news of this shocking discovery of Friday had aggravated friends, family and supporters on the ‘Help Find Chelsea Bruck’ Facebook page, which has more than 12,000 members in it.
There are lots of posts on the page, starting from family to friends to complete strangers who are all praying for her to come back home safe. One user wrote, “I am praying hard this in the news is NOT chelsea and I pray she comes home soon!…with lots of love.”
Bruck’s sister Kassandra said in November that, “We just know we’re going to find her.”
