Michelle Obama has to be hands down the coolest US first lady ever. She has performed a funky dance routine at the annual Easter programme at the White House which had left the audiences matching their steps with her.
This performance on Tuesday had been part of her campaign “Let’s Move” targeted at children for eating healthy and to exercise regularly.
The first lady, 51, joined a group of young dancers to dance to the groovy number Uptown Funk, a hit released in 2014.
The event which took place on the south lawn of the White House saw a gathering a thousands of visitors, which included children taking part in the famous egg roll race, cooking classes and fitness sessions.
The President, Barack Obama has also participated in a game of tennis with the young participants.
The White House later on released pictured of the Obamas on Easter.
There had also been a photo of the family with their dogs Bo and Sunny which has been posted on Instagram with the caption “From the Obama family to yours, Happy Easter!”
President Obama has been seen in a dark gray tailored suit complimenting him with a lavender tie, while Michele Obama in a teal hued sleeveless sheath dress.
They never fail to come off the picture perfect family that fellow Americans love to see and admire so dearly.
