Tonight, RAW will broadcast live from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. This is the final RAW episode before next Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view and the WWE is definitely in the middle of a huge change of guard.
What’s already been confirmed for tonight is the return of Triple H to the show with a huge announcement regarding Tough Enough. The Miz is also going to take on Damien Sandow for the right to use the “Miz” likeness. The other superstars that have been advertised for tonight include Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Big Show, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Seth Rollins and Kane.
Now, the last major announcement that the WWE hyped wasn’t that huge and hopefully this time is going to be different. The WWE teased the revival of Tough Enough last week and there are quite a few possibilities if this is true. Triple H may be announcing a new host for Tough Enough since Stone Cold Steve Austin is definitely not going to be available to host it. Most fans believe that replacing Austin is all but impossible although Chris Jericho’s name has been mentioned by a few sources.
The big selling point of tonight’s RAW is definitely not going to involve Daniel Bryan since everything associated with him in the last few months has just been bad news. And given how little anyone know about Edge retiring because of his injuries I don’t think they would have mentioned it if something was going to happen.
If it actually is the new host of Tough Enough, then the only important question is who? Some of the most likely names include Jericho, Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley, Goldust, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels and Triple H himself. But Jericho does seem to be the most likely. His band hasn’t had any tours in the last few months. Maybe this is the reason why? We will all keep speculating until tonight right?
